Councilman  Ivar Hyden
What I want to do:
  • To provide quality representation to ALL the residents of
    district 4.
  • To revitalize our downtown and North Avenue with a new,
innovative, and sensible approach to development.
  • To explore new revenue streams using existing city code,
new legislation, and resources we already own.
  • To use the arts to bring new businesses and residents with
    disposable income to our city.
  • To preserve and enhance the quality of life in our
    residential neighborhoods.
  • To be a positive voice on city council and to bring creative
solutions to problems without regard to politics.
Common
Sense not
Politics.
It's Time for a New Rochelle Renaissance
There are two current development issues which are important to our community: The 17 Locust
Avenue Project, and the Iona Dorm Project.

The Locust Ave. project is  very poorly conceived...I do not support it and would vote NO.

Recently, Iona college agreed to delay their dorm proposal and seem to be willing to open dialog
with the neighboring residents to come up with a better project.  I am in favor of this concept
provided there is sufficient neighborhood input.

I am delighted to have won the City Council election
in a landslide.  Thanks to the wonderful volunteers
who worked tirelessly on my campaign, and to the
generous folks who contributed the necessary funds.
Let's continue to work together for the future of our
city...
Thank you All!
